What's the next Let's Play?

A platformer that might not work and Tomato's hoping to 100%. What could it be?

Hi everyone!
It's me, Ihasnoleek. Sorry for the long break, but frankly there hasn't been any real need for a blog post. Just episodes of series being uploaded until now, when the last video for the Psychonauts LP has been released.



Today the big T 100%-ed the last level in the mindful platformer and gave a tiny description of what the next LP will be. It will be:

• A platformer.
• Something he's played before as he's hoping to 100% it (a collect-athon).
• A game that could possibly not work (Although it could just be problems at AIM Industries that mean he's not making any promises).
• Not a Half-Life game.

My first thoughts include Super Meat Boy, one of the original Banjo-Kazooie games and Spelunky. It's more likely to be one of the Banjo-Kazooie games as they are collect-athons, games he doesn't actually own physical copies of (therefore emulator problems could occur), platformers and games he's played before.

Also I thought I should update the list of Borderlands introductions:

Ok. Hello, recent occurrences on Ihasnotomato-related things include the new Borderlands Let’s Play and Super Meat Boy: Spr Kid Boi.



Ok, done. Oh wait!
In the Borderlands Let’s Play he has begun introducing episodes, welcoming people to the name of the game, which happens to be changed every episode since episode 12.

The names are:

1. Dark Souls 3 (in ep. 12)
2. Paul Blart Maul Cop 2 (ep. 13)
3. PETA’s Poke’mon Black and Blue Edition (ep. 14)

That’s it. It’s what you’ve been waiting for for 2 months. I know these things.

Finale Animated

Bet that got your attention :P

So in the past few days big things have happened. The title indicates that I will talk about a finale, an animated, or an animated finale. I’m not going to talk about an animated finale because there isn’t one. Although that would be cool. The finale is that of Fallout: New Vegas, a Let’s Play that started at the reboot of Ihasnochille back in 2014 alongside Zelda: Ocarina of Time with Erren and the continuation of Black Mesa. The 81^st episode signalled the end of an LP lasting just over a year and the only hint Ihasnotomato gave of the next LP was that “we’ll be going to a far off land”. I already know, but I can’t tell you until the first episode’s out. He’s the boss.



Anyway the other spot of news I have is that the first Ihasnochille Animated was uploaded a couple of days ago, taking a snippet of audio from part 44 of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with Erren. It was made by Mabeanie as a present for Ihasnotomato’s birthday. Tomato loves it to pieces: I don’t think I’ve ever seen him use so many exclamation marks before.



Anyhow, I’ve been the leek-y squeaker and I’ll do another post regarding something else in the future.

Ihasatwitter

Ihasnotomato recently took up using twitter, having opened the account only to contact a fellow Let’s Player. It has its own profile picture and the heading picture advertises both of his channels.

Although most of the tweets have been shares of each new video he uploads, he has mentioned to me that he may take it up as a blogging option. What this means for this blog cannot be said as this was merely a thought.

Anyway that’s all for now and he recently did a collab episode of Fallout: New Vegas with Akirasora (fellow member of A.I.M. Industries), so be sure to check that out. The last time he did a non-A.I.M. video with him was the One Piece Grand Adventure series on Akirasora’s channel. That was on the first of August, 2013…

 

Also, for those who aren’t in the know, the reason there are no Ocarina of Time episodes is because he ran out of them. It is explained in this video:

Ihasnochille 2015

Last year was the first complete year of the new Ihasnochille channel. After a long hiatus the channel had been rethought out so that three Let’s Plays would be running at the same time. Half-Life’s completion allowed for LPs which began under the channel revamp to have the same sort of commentary where episodes of different LPs were recorded around the same time as each other. Previously Ihasnotomato did one LP at a time, meaning more episodes of the same thing. Realising he had a bigger audience after the G-Man theory video’s success and the sudden increase of subscribers he chose a format which could deliver both variety and consistency.

I am Ihasnoleek, by the way.

So the format he chose started the year with the return of Half-Life/Black Mesa and the introduction of two new LPs; Ocarina of Time and Fallout: New Vegas. Interestingly only what I call ‘slot 1’ (Half-Life/Quantum Conundrum/Psychonauts) has featured LPs that have started and ended. Slots 2 (Fallout: New Vegas) and 3 (Ocarina of Time and Silent Hill 2) have only featured LPs that have started and not ended. However Ocarina of Time is looking to be finishing before Fallout: New Vegas due to the immense length of New Vegas. So hopefully sometime this year one of those LPs will finish and a new LP will be introduced alongside Psychonauts depending on how long Psychonauts is.

Meanwhile, Psychonauts is an interesting game with in-your-face characters and a wacky story, so please have a look at any episode of the LP. Note: Every episode has the word ‘mind’ in it.
